In the tasting of our wines, the essential ingredients we have used can be found harmoniously transformed: selected grapes of the highest quality, careful and painstaking work at every stage of the process, state-of-the-art technology while respecting traditional methods.
The heart of Franciacorta
The name of the farm, TENUTA MONTE DELMA, is intended as a grateful homage to the place. The soil is typical of the morainic area of Lake Iseo. The vineyards, with Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero varieties, are trained by the Guyot method with a vine density of more than five thousand vines per hectare. Particular attention is paid to the choice of clones planted, according to the characteristics of the soils and their exposure, in order to obtain the best quality grapes for producing wines worthy of the FRANCIACORTA label.
An ancient Romanesque village The MonteDelma Estate
It has been an autonomous municipality since 1335, as evidenced by the recently found 13th Mile milestone.
The characteristic hamlet includes the Romanesque bell tower of Sant’Alessandro surrounded by the remains of the monastery and other elegant dwellings that highlight the local stone walls. In the heart of Franciacorta, our vineyards flourish on the slopes of Monte Delma in Valenzano.
