The vines

The various varieties of vines planted are cultivated by low, guyot or cordon espalier trained and spur-pruned, to facilitate the cultivation operations. Special attention is paid to the clones planted, depending on the characteristics of the land and their exposure.
The planting density, around 5000 stumps per hectare, allows less production per plant and so greater quality of the grapes harvested.
The planting of grass between the rows, which is carried out in all the plots, leads to less soil erosion, a greater content of organic substances and, not least, improved overall visual impact of the territory.
The dedicated plots of land for our vines lie among glacial beds, scattered colluvium and fine moraine.
